KINGSTON is home to the first ever SA president of the Cattle Council of Australia and he is prepared to face the industries challenges as they arise. After over seven years of representation on the CCA, local cattle producer

Andrew Ogilvie has been elected as the organisation’s new president.

Mr Ogilvie took over the role from former president Greg Brown at a CCA meeting held in Longreach, Queensland,

on November 15. Mr Ogilvie said this was an exciting

opportunity for the State. “It is exciting for SA to have representative as the president of a national organisation. SA doesn’t usually have the opportunity,” Mr Ogilvie said. The new president has previously held

positions as treasurer and vice president while being part of the CCA.
