MAHALIA Coffee just keeps putting Limestone Coast produce on the map.

The Robe-based business collected yet another accolade when it took home the gold at this year’s CSR Sugar Golden Bean Roaster Competition.

Competing against 1200 entries from around the country, Mahalia Coffee’s Blend No. 2 took home the gold in the Milk Based Coffee category in the event’s

largest year to date.

Mahalia’s Fair Trade Organic Sumatran also received a bronze medal in the Organic Espresso category.

The CSR Sugar Golden Bean Roaster Competition attracts the best, putting the spotlight on Australian coffee roasters nationwide.

Winners receive gold, silver and bronze medals across 10 categories.

This year’s judging was overseen by Justin Metcalf, head judge for the World Barista Championships. These awards further cement SA and the Limestone Coast’s credentials as a gourmet food destination.
