New Kingston library unveiled

05 Oct, 2011 09:29 AM
IT was 25 years to the exact date that Kingston Community School library was opened, and history repeated itself when the revamped library was opened last week.

It was an exciting day for the newly improved Kingston Community Library, which was opened by Senator Anne McEwen, in front of invited guests who are currently directly involved with the library operations.

The event was opened by Library Board chairman Darryl Morley, who is a former deputy principal of the school.

Tess Armfield sang the national anthem before Senator McEwen officially opened the newly refurbished library.

“Congratulations to Kingston Community School on their 25th birthday, and on the opening of the

Kingston Community Library,” she said.
