<description><![CDATA[BOASTING one of the few traditional turf bowling greens left in the SE, Robe Bowling Club has opted to move with the times and lay a synthetic green.
The club has received an $80,000 loan from the District Council of Robe to help pay for the synthetic green, which members hope will be completed by next season.
Robe Bowling Club committee member Mark Giles spoke at the last council meeting to outline the proposed plan to councillors.
