The Robe & Districts Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank held a barbecue on the Robe foreshore from 11am-2pm on Easter Sunday.
The weather was fantastic and the foreshore was busy with locals and tourists.
In true Bendigo style, the bank gave back to the community by raising money and accepting donations throughout the day.
The bank barbecue will be an ongoing event over long weekends and summer periods.
Branch manager Tracey Long, Angela Tymmons, Sharon Hondow and board member Annie Matthews served 150 sausages and bread and raised $230.
All proceeds will be going towards the Kingston Senior Citizens Club and the Robe Probus Club.
Tracey said: “It was a great day and wonderful to see so many people out in Robe. We were given the opportunity to chat with many families, mostly holidaying from Victoria, who were very familiar and strong advocates of the community bank concept.
