The children and parents from the Robe playgroup enjoyed a day outdoors on April 7.
They engaged in ‘nature play’, which is learning through the environment.
Despite the windy weather the children had a fantastic time in the sun, splashing in the water and playing in the sand.
Cath Bell organised for the children to explore the outdoors, including teaching them to respect the environment and the animals that live in it.
She explained to the children if they found a crab under a rock to make sure they put the “roof back over the crab when they had finished looking”.
Robe playgroup meets weekly, alternating between the RSL hall in town and other venues.
