Ambulance volunteers recognised

SA Ambulance Service celebrated its volunteers during National Volunteer Week.

During the week, all volunteers were recognised for their commitment at a series of celebratory events hosted by each ambulance station.

SA Ambulance Service also wishes to thank volunteers’ families, who selflessly encourage their loved ones to assist people in their time of need.

There are 1549 SA Ambulance Service volunteers – including operational (on road) and non-operational (administration) volunteers.

Operations Manager Limestone Coast, Andrew Thomas said: “we have 160 volunteers who have dedicated their time across the whole limestone coast region.
