Sit down, have a cup of tea and a yarn and raise money for a good cause at Kingston’s Biggest Morning Tea.
The event will be held at the Kingston Football Club from 10am onwards on June 21.
This year there will be no raffles, no competitions and no guest speaker, it will be relaxed and causal and come and go as you please.
Sit down and have a chat to raise money for the Cancer Council.
Organiser Karen Parker is asking if people could bring a small plate of morning tea, it would be a wonderful help.
If you are unable to make it on the day there are money boxes at Bliss, Littles Bakery and the Kingston IGA.
Otherwise you can donate online through the Cancer Council website.
Search for the Biggest Morning Tea, and donate under the organisational name of Kingston community.
Karen said “it is a great that a team of people from the community are coming together to organise the morning tea.
“It is a great cause. Cancer and cancer research is something that affects a lot of people in our community.
“This will support people in the community and further afield.
“Pop in and pop out as you need to and whatever you want to donate, you can donate.
“Leave as much as you can and take away only the satisfaction of a job well done and time well spent.”
