Lions: Chad Francis and his Padthaway teammates have a big day ahead.

The highlight of this weekend’s round of KNTFL football will be the 50th anniversary celebrations at Padthaway.

The Lions are in top form having beaten Penola last week and they host old rivals Naracoorte on a big day for the club. They should get a good win on what will be a huge reunion day for the club.

Probably the best match-up for the round will be Keith v Mundulla, with both sides having lost only one game for the season so far. Mundulla is in ripping form but Keith has done nothing wrong and it will be a 50-50 contest with the winner possibly moving to premiership favouritism.

The other three games should be easier to select, with in-form Lucindale likely to be too good for Bordertown despite the Roosters winning their first game for the season last week.

K/L United should climb a little closer to the top five with a win over Kingston, while Penola will be keen to bounce back from a surprise loss with a big performance against Border Districts. Kybybolite has the bye.
