The Robe and Kingston SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) had a joint training recently.
At this training they practised with new equipment including the Hover mat, Hover jack and the Camel Lifter.
Both, Robe and Kingston, SAAS teams contributed to the purchase of this equipment for the local communities.
These funds mainly came from community donations to either the Robe or Kingston team.
“As a team we felt it was fitting to put these funds back into the community,” said Robe team leader Michelle Everett.
“We now have access to equipment to benefit everyone in the community.”
The Camel Lifter is located in Robe while the Hover mat and jack is stored at the Kingston Hospital.
