After last year’s fantastic Cape Jaffa Festival, get ready for a day of live music, activities, wines and gourmet food this Sunday.
Join in on the float toss or sand sculpture/castle fun. There’s free face painting and activity tent for the kids and the older but young at heart can take part for a donation to the painters.
Last year waves of people came to the event throughout the morning and afternoon for a great event and the 2018 Cape Jaffa Seafood and Wine Festival is happening this weekend.
Sunday January 14 will be a fabulous day for family, friends and plenty of frivolity.
Come and spend the day by the seaside enjoying live music with delicious food and wonderful wine in an atmosphere that caters for everyone.
The festival will bring together a great selection of seafood and other fine fare thanks to the many local providers and community groups.
On offer will be Southern Rock Lobster, oysters cooked and natural, prawns and prawn dip, good old-fashioned fish n chips, fish tacos, Sails at Robe's famous salt and pepper squid and lobster pies and more.
There will also be plenty for the non seafood lovers including gourmet burgers, locally made cheeses, vegetarian delights, sweet treats of home made slices and biscuits, pavlovas, coffee excellence and to die for milkshakes.
The Mount Benson and Robe wineries will be showcasing their wares and will be only too pleased to recommend a wine to match your lunch. For the beer and cider connoisseurs local brewers will also be in attendance.
After savouring all those amazing wines you'll also be able to take your favourites home with the festival's take home licence allowing sealed wine to be taken off the premises.
This large community event relies on the support and sponsorship of local businesses and community groups.
It's will be a fabulous day out for the whole family.
