Young cricketer makes an impact

A young cricketer from Kingston has made an impact in the Premier Cricket Under 12 competition.

Luke Watson represented the Kensington District Cricket Club in Adelaide in December and impressed his team mates with his cricket skills.

The team won all three minor round games and defeated Woodville in the grand final on December 12.

Luke had an excellent grand final, making 12 not out from 13 balls in our total of 7/119 from 40 overs.

Woodville was dismissed for 84 with Luke taking 3/10 from 5 overs.

Earlier in the carnival Luke had made a swashbuckling 25 against Northern Districts.

Kensington Cricket Club has a strong relationship with Kingston.

Other Kingston players to play for the team include 15 year old Luke Pedlar, who made his 2nd Grade debut on Saturday and made 23.

While 14 year old Campbell Watts made his senior debut in our 4th Grade, making 22.

Jack Harding and Jack Tapfield are also playing in the Under 16 teams.
