Darcy Towill was presented with a certificate of appreciation by the Royal Flying Doctors Service Kingston and District Support Group meeting on May 14.
Darcy’s family presented the Kingston RFDS with a cheque for $1000 on Easter Saturday to thank RFDS. Darcy had been quite ill during that point in time and had to be flown to Adelaide.
Although he has completely recovered from his ordeal since then. Darcy was flown out of Mount Gambier late last year four times with the RFDS, due to two viruses, croup, and glandular fever.
He had many seizures and had to be taken to the Adelaide Women and Children’s Hospital with his mother Ebony Geue for treatment.
The family expressed how grateful they were for the services available to them at the support group meeting in receiving the award.
