The Hawthorn Hawks have returned to the winners’ circle with a thrilling win on Saturday afternoon. The Hawks secured a 9.10 (64) to 9.7 (61) victory over Port Adelaide Power in the round 11 AFL clash at University of Tasmania Stadium. The result came on the back of a three-game losing slump for Hawthorn. It also drew Hawthorn level with the Power on the AFL ladder. Captain Jarryd Roughhead booted the watch winner late in the fourth quarter, with the Hawks holding on to win by three points. Veteran Shaun Burgoyne was arguably best on ground, finishing with 26 possessions for Hawthorn. Tom Mitchell and Ben McEvoy kicked two goals apiece for the Hawks. Meanwhile, Robbie Gray led the way with four goals for Port Adelaide.
