Kaniva/Leeor United and Mundulla will clash in the KNTFL’s match of the round this Saturday.
KLU is on top of the ladder but would like to get some space on the chasing pack, while Mundulla is in a fight for a top three spot, but needs to win this one or risk falling behind in the race. It’s a toss of the coin with KLU favourites but Mundulla capable of winning.
Adding to the occasion is that the teams will be vying for the Trevor Dodson Memorial Cup, in memory of a leading Tatiara footballer who was coach of both Leeor and Mundulla clubs.
Arch rivals Naracoorte and Kybybolite will do battle with both sides coming off thrilling wins. Finals seem out of the question for both teams, but bragging rights are up for grabs and this will be a fierce clash.
Bordertown is coming off two weeks’ rest, but faces a Keith side that will be keen to atone for a last start loss to Lucindale. Keith is in a battle for a top three spot and needs the percentage, so will be looking for a big win.
Lucindale has been in great touch in recent weeks and will be hot favourites to handle the improved Border Districts.
Padthaway suffered a close loss last week but should bounce back with a home win over Kingston.
