Mark Vearing has been working hard to raise money for cure4cysticfibrosis since the start of June this year.

Mark is sending out a huge thank you to every one who purchased a ticket in the cure4cysticfibrosis raffle,  as every ticket sale has helped.

Winners in the raffle:

  • 1st Jayne Hayse
  • 2nd Maureen Heinrich
  • 3rd Darren Laurence

Mark had a number of people to thank, sending out a massive thank you to Adrian and Kylie Johns at Robe Plumbing Services for there donation on $1761.75.

Luke Hann and the Robe hotel also played a big part in Mark’s work, raising $1200 during the Friday night draws.

Mark thanked the Robe Roosters Football Club, who allowed him to sell tickets at the Port Macdonnell game, as Mark was also able to draw the raffle in the club rooms at half time during the A grade.

“It all added up to a huge $3294.75,” Mark said. “This is going to go along way to finding a cure for this nasty illness.”

Mark’s original goal was to raise $1700 and has gone up and beyond that.

Mark had a number of local businesses get behind him, supporting wherever they could which was excellent to see.

“Huge thanks to Robe Pharmacy, Loaves and Fishers, Cape Jaffa wines and to all the businesses and wineries who donated to this cause there is too many to name you all.

“Cure 4 Cystic Fibrosis is South Australian based so the money we raise will go towards these kids and they will benefit from it.”
