An important meeting will be taking place tonight at 7:30 in the Robe Institute surrounding the future of the paramedics.
The meeting will start tonight with the welcoming of Denise Foreman, the presiding member of Kingston/Robe Health Advisory Council.
This will be followed by some background information presented by Limestone Coast GP Dr David Senior on the paramedics, entailing what they do for the community and how they benefit those who have health issues within the Limestone Coast area.
Deputy Leader of the opposition Clare Scriven will then speak on behalf of Chris Picton, Shadow Minister for Health and Wellbeing, followed by Member for MacKillop Nick McBride.
South Australian Ambulance Service country operations manager Andrew Thomas will be present to answer questions.
The meeting will then be open to take comments from the floor, interpreting everyone’s feedback before explaining the action plan. Recommendations on a way forward will follow and the audience will be given another chance to provide their comments.
The meeting will finish with a light supper.
