Robe Primary School enjoy 'Run 4 Fun' day

The Robe Primary School parents and friends committee ran its school 'Run4Fun' colour explosion on Saturday morning March 9.

Normally Robe Primary School would be running one big fundraiser throughout the year which is the Easter Fete, although this year the parents and friends and school staff have decided to organise a number of different fundraisers throughout the year.

The 'Run4Fun' was apart of Robe Primary School's fundraising efforts for the 2019 school year, with hopes to provide more for the students an encourage to remain active and fit throughout the coming year.

The Robe Primary School students were asked to wear a white shirt, as each of them were covered head to toe in the colour powder during the run.

The day was focused around fitness and having fun while keeping fit, with the benefit of raising money for the school.

All siblings not attending Robe Primary School were welcome to participate as well. Each student participating received a sponsorship form including instructions on how they could raise money and order prizes.

Students used their sponsorship form to gather their donations in cash together with online fundrasing, as the students were able to receive incentive prizes for their efforts if they reached $10 or over.

The students created a student profile page which was unique to them, with friends and family getting behind them during the run.
