The state's regional not-for-profit organisations can power-up their organisation offerings by applying for up to three digital devices at no cost.
The initiative, offered through the state government's Digital Donation Program, enables eligible community groups to access surplus government computers and laptops.
Furthermore, the program aims to reduce the government's ecological footprint as part of its commitment to sustainability and climate change.
The program opens to community groups on Wednesday, January 13.
Stuart MP Dan van Holst Pellekaan, explained that eligible organisations can apply for up to three devices.
"However if stock levels are low, organisations may not receive the number of devices requested," he said.
"Successful organisations will receive a HP Generation Desktop computer with a limited number of laptops available through the program on an "as is" basis, with organisations required to arrange any upgrades to fit the device to their requirements," he added.
Applications close Friday, February 12.
