The Limestone Coast Local Health Network is happy with the rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in the region.

Currently, the network has administered more than 24,000 vaccinations across the Limestone Coast, according to a spokesperson.

"We are very pleased to have administered more than 24,000 vaccinations through our clinics in the region, with additional supply now available providing more appointments across our clinics," they said.

"Respiratory clinics, pharmacies and GPs play an important role in delivering the vaccine to the local community and we greatly appreciate their support as we work together in providing these services."

The region's vaccination rollout is in line with the Commonwealth Government's supply and phase schedule, with priority groups targeted as part of the first and second phase earlier this year.

With more and more people looking to roll up their sleeve and get vaccinated, the network has been incredibly happy with amazing work staff have done during the vaccination process.

"Our staff have done an amazing job delivering this important service to the community, and we will continue to manage demand and rostering accordingly as part of our ongoing COVID-19 response," the spokesperson said.
